COOKING RESEARCH STORIES: THE MUNDARÉU PODCAST
Resumo
The Humanities have always been neglected in Science Communication. The
internet has changed this scenario a bit. Without relying on intermediaries
– other than technology – scientists in the Humanities found space to
make more research emerge in the areas of History, Sociology, Linguistics,
Literature and… Anthropology. And in this cyberspace, the fastest growing
medium is the podcast. On air: Anthropology. Stories in Podcast tells the
adventures of anthropologists that have become public. Stories that
involve people, science, technologies, places and much of what is studied
in this area. All this in a podcast, for those who want to listen, whenever
they want, the way they want. In chapters, the authors write about the
podcasts, inviting readers to get to know this science and also to follow the
episodes to learn more and more about the world, the people and things
that inhabit it, from the perspective of Anthropology.
